1Rock Island Lighthouse
If you’re looking for a great spot for a picnic lunch, look no further than the Rock Island Lighthouse. Accessible only by boat, Rock Island is the perfect place to sit at a shady picnic table and eat lunch while you watch ships go by. For a small fee, wander through the museum and up the spiral stair to the top of the lighthouse for a great view of the surrounding islands. The friendly staff are more than happy to guide you through your visit and regal you with stories of stormy seas and shipwrecks. Catch a ride on a local boat tour or learn more about the history of the Rock Island Lighthouse.
