Lake Effect: An Upstate Winter

When confronting the winters of Upstate New York, lake effect snow can be a very unpredictable beast to tame. The combination of rapid snowfall and the potential for high winds and low visibility make driving in these storms especially difficult. So even though we received over 90 inches of snow in a 72 hour period several times throughout the month of January, we still wanted to capture the essence of this snowy beginning to the new year.

For more about our adventure through the lake effect snow storm, check out the latest episode of the I Love Upstate New York Podcast or find us on iTunes (Search I Love Upstate New York). Also, see the snow reach to the tops of the telephone polls in Oswego and Buffalo!
