Over the weekend, high winds and very low temperatures on Lake Ontario resulted in these extraordinary ice formations in Sackets Harbor. I went out and shot during the day and at sunset on Saturday in the bitter cold, with the flu…but I just couldn’t resist how unbelievable these natural ice sculptures looked. The ice covered about 500 feet of shoreline and at it’s highest point was well over my 5’2″ stature. Here are a few of the over 300 shots I took that day. Enjoy!
